This wedding weekend planned by Sirpilla Soriees was held at the gorgeous Tudor House at Mason’s Cove in Akron, Ohio. At the rehearsal dinner, the bride to be wore a silk spaghetti strap dress with sheer overlay while the groom wore an ivory suit with white button down. Guests mingled with friends while enjoying dinner.
The day of the wedding in Akron, Ohio, the bride spent a relaxing morning in pajamas surrounded by her bridesmaids getting hair and makeup perfected for a momentous day. The lovely bride wore an strapless organza gown with Versace white bow shoes. Her golden hair was styled in a low chignon and topped with a veil. We captured an emotion-filled first look between her and the groom, who was dressed in black tuxedo pants with a white jacket. Afterwards, the couple traveled to St. Bernard Catholic Church for the ceremony. The cathedral ceilings with stained glass windows and marble floors created an impressive backdrop as the couple said ‘I do’. The bride carried a white floral bouquet with greenery as she made her way to her groom. White floral arrangements sat beside the pews and lined the aisle. The bridesmaids stood by in black dresses of various styles while the groomsmen all wore black tuxedos.
After the ceremony, guests headed to an outdoor cocktail hour prior to the tent reception. Long wooden tables were lined with white floral centerpieces and white candles in glass vases. White dinnerware with black napkins made up the place settings. Sparkling chandeliers hung overhead, as well as twinkling lights to illuminate the space. A commemorative wine bottle served as a unique guest book. Guests enjoyed a delicious meal prior to cake and ice cream for dessert. As the sun set, guests headed to the dance floor to celebrate this joyous union.
