There are places in the world feel like they belong in a dream. The Amalfi Coast is one of them. Nestled high on the cliffs overlooking the Tyrrhenian Sea, Hotel Santa Caterina is more than a venue—it’s a feeling. The Planners/Design Team LightEventCo met us on the terrace, where long tables were being envisioned with wild, seasonal florals, flowing linens, and flickering candlelight. Together, we walked through the layout, timeline, and intimate details that make a destination wedding in Amalfi feel not just beautiful—but deeply personal.
This couple took full advantage of our destination wedding photography package, which included coverage of both their welcome party and the full wedding day. And I’m so glad they did—because the welcome party alone was a celebration in itself. It was hosted at the wonderful DonnaStella Pizzeria! The welcome party was held at DonnaStella, tucked beneath a canopy of lemon trees right in the heart of Amalfi Coast. It was the ultimate Italian welcome—wood-fired pizza passed around rustic tables, endless flowing wine, fresh mozzarella, the smell of basil and citrus in the air.
